Congratulations to TheFox180 who won last week's great challenge.

Fox is away for a few days and so is unable to pick this weeks challenge and so I have had a look around and found a nice little challenge on Steve Beaton's video posted by Silversaber.
This one replaces the previous challenge '3' as it was deemed to hard and too complicated.


OK, so this one is called 'Round in Double's' and is explained by Steve Beaton at the 1min58sec mark on the video: http://www.dartsnutz.com/t1280-steve-beaton-practice-routines-brilliant-a-must-watch-video

Basically you get 3 darts to hit each double in numerical order 1-20, then 3 at the double bullseye.
If you hit the double in less than the 3 darts any spare darts can be thrown at the next double, as well as your 3.
So if you hit D1 in 2 darts then the 3rd dart is thrown at D2, if you hit move on to D3, miss and you get your 3 darts at D2 and so on.
So the most you can have at any single double is 5 darts (2 spare plus your 3).
Once you miss a double with the 3 darts (plus any spares), thats the end of that particular turn.

I do this one atleast twice a week. Love it

my 1st go i got to number 6 before i failed so my score is 5

Yeah, I found it a bit tricky first few goes and got up to 7 twice so my best is 6 so far.

I know I can do better but do tend to avoid D3 and D7 wherever possible, maybe this will be good for me to practice those more often.

Just to clarify our score is the highest double successfully hit rather than the number we fail on.

So although I got to 7 (and Mark to 6) as we failed to hit these numbers we count the double we actually hit.

First darts I've thrown since Friday and I managed to score 6. Not bad, think I've got better in me though

took a few turns to get past the pesky five. Ended with score of 6

Managed to take out 5 6 and 7 with three darts unlucky and wired all three for the d10

Good arrows Mac, gonna have a few more goes before deadline in just over 2 hours
