Just got home from work after hitting an 11 darter - 180, 140, 140, 41 (S9, D32).

It beats my previous best of 12 darts and I'm well happy. I've always played with 25gram Penetrators since I started playing darts, although I have bought 2 other sets, but never really stuck with them for long enough before returning back to my old faithfuls. Anyway, 1 of the guys in the team bought some 19gram Jenkins a few weeks back and decided that he doesn't really like them and so one night I had a couple of throws and they felt okay, all be it a little on the light side. So, last night he was in and asked if I could borrow them for the night to give them a good going over.

I started with them and had half an hour with them, hit a couple of 180's and a few 140's, but they were still just a little bit too light for me. So, I switched back to the Penetrators and spent 20-30mins practicing my Ton finishes for this weeks Taylor Challenge and then decided to have a few games against the scoreboard with him playing at a 75 average and low and behold, 2nd game in I threw the leg above and yes I did run round the whole club with my arms up, shame there was nobody there to witness me doing it.

Great darts - I did 11 a couple of times many years ago and equalled it about 6 months ago - good feeling isn't it.

Good luck for the Taylor challenge this week as well.
