great shootin cutter! hit a 180 out playing darts last night but i just couldn't squeeze one in tonight despite +6 140s in about 40 min of practice.

also how are you getting on with the phase 6s? they're still my go to dart haha. i told myself i'd stick with them through thick and thin and its worked. 2 months without swapping haha.

Thanks, CB! I also decided to make them my primary set. I was initially frustrated using them with Phase 5 stems and different kinds of flights but finally decided to use nylons and slim flights (I took a cue from your setup) and so far so good. For some weird reason, there are rare occasions when they slip from my hand, but I try to not to think about my grip and try to feel my throw instead. Will be sticking to them for a while.

Afterwards, I decided to go back to the Phase 6 and used Target nylon stems and Marathon slim flights instead and was rewarded with my second 180 of the day (#7 for the year, #8 all-time). Big credit to George for his guidance and his book, Darts B2E.

Did this at 5 in the morning after my dog woke me up and I wasn't wearing my glasses.

When I walked to the board I was shocked to see them all in the treble.

thanks lads, i think it was the grouping that i was more pleased with than actually hitting them

yeah the grouping was tight on both which is a good sign,

grouping is definitely a better motivation booster. If you can keep them tight it's only a matter of moving around. It's nice to have good consistency. Reminds you that all of those hours playing was worth it

July 28, 2012. Got another 180, #8 for the year, #9 all-time. My last three 180s came from three different sets (Winmau Andy Fordham The Viking 24g, Unicorn Phil Taylor Phase 6 25g and my former primary dart, Target Silica Apollo 26g.
