| I can't believe it!! After all the rantings by Bo-Jangles and me having a go at him here and there I finally decided that I would try something. Instead of trying to understand every little thing he goes on about I picked just one thing that he's said from the beginning about how we actually pull the darts instead of pushing as in a bow string pulling an arrow. Well I pictured my fingers as the bow string pulling the dart forward. What a difference that made!My darts seemed to fly straighter and true. I practiced for a little bit then went on to try 100 darts at 20's like I do every practice session. Well this may just be a fluke but I like this way of thinking about my throw. Here are the results of my 100 darts.. I hit 6 x180's twice I hit back to back!!! There are some words of wisdom in Bo's posts somewhere in there you just have to find what works for you. Sorry to Bo for any hard feelings I hope you accept my apologies.. Cheers, Hatrick [img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img] |

| Definately not saying he's a genious just tried a different approach instead of putting him down all the time. Maybe I was just lucky as hell last night but I dont think so everything just felt right, not that I will do that all the time now I know I wont, but if it raises my game even just a little I am grateful..

| Now keep in mind this is just throwing at 20's all the time there's no finishing involved in this practice routine.

Still, that is a very decent average, even if it is just scoring. I'll have to try out this Bo-jangles pulling and pushing technique, even though I don't entirely understand it. |

| Best leg 12 darts in practice. After wiring every other dart on the outside of treble 20 I decided to play some 501 games on 19's. 4th game shot 171-133-133-64(8,16,D20) Best doubles in comp 14 darts from 601 140-100-140-121-100 (I'm throwing second) and 14 darts from 501 (throwing first) 180-41-180-43-57. Never hit back to back 180's before or since! in fact i have only hit 1 x 180 in comp since and we were on 182! Oops sorry partner. Did have two shots at max last week both bounce-outs. |

just noticed that myself. i use the storm 5s as well. what do ya think of them? also just noticed you use almost the exact same set up as i did. i was using short laros and champagne flights but have since went back to thick poly flights and short laros. |

| Was going thru about 2-3 sets per week just in practice. Can't afford em anymore. I loved them but it just got too expensive. |

| Can't fault the logic there - if I was going through that many I wouldn't use them either. I've had a few shafts break (up to 5 now) but only a couple of flights have got too mangled to play. |

also just noticed you use almost the exact same set up as i did. i was using short laros and champagne flights but have since went back to thick poly flights and short laros. Hey guys. I got the new Storms this week so I am just getting used to them but they feel great already. I was using 21g Dennis Priestly so the shape is similar but i prefer a heavier weight. Very happy with the L-Flight combination although i ordered some Fit Flights Airs to try with the Storms. Not sure I am comfortable with the spinning but the locked version seems fine. Won 2 of 3 doubles matches and my singles in 2 legs last night (including 105 and 83 finish) with the Storms so pretty happy. |
