i'm a member in a couple other forums and i regularly browse others as well. they just can't keep my interest for longer than a few minutes. been a member here for a little over 2 months IIRC, and can't get enough. we have just over 200 members with maybe 30 or so regulars and the content yall generate is incredible. The fact that we have such a small membership and are in the top 20 darts sites on a daily basis is a testament to the quality of members here.

I agree totally... I used to browse a few darts sites but that was exactly it...I browsed.......on here as soon as I registered i felt welcome...that's one of the main reasons I try to welcome all the new members to the site. And for the site still being relatively small (albeit growing quicker every day) I find it very active......its probs a good thing my work won't allow me to access the chat

As some one on here posted in the past....posting, being able to discuss issuessensibly and freely, Bering able to have a bit of banter etc etc is the life blood of every forum(or something along those lines). On here I see it as more of one big group rather than there being power hungry mods etc.....for that I comend every admin and mod on here because its thanks to them the site is the way it is and its the reason it keeps growing every day.

And the best part is, you don't have to be dysfunctional.

I'm a member of several forums but the only ones I actually post to are this one and the Darts Corner one - love them both, and am proud to be one of the earliest members of Darts Nutz. What has been achieved in the past 5 and a bit months is awesome - keep it going everyone.

Thanks guys, its as much the input of the members as anything else that makes a forum what it is, I think because we are still small its kind of like a big family gathering and we all feel a bit more social and know everyone well. As members increase it will get busier but I hope we can keep that same atmosphere alive.

I cant remember what forum I first joined it was probably something to do with computers or video games but I never posted a great deal in those, I then happened to browse the forum that was linked to Darts Corner, I browsed for a long time, then I joined up under the username of oneeye. I only made so many posts and after a while I felt dis-enchanted with it and stopped posting, it just did not seem all that friendly at first.

Then the dc forum was re-launched and I think there had been some re-structuring and I browsed again for a while then decided to give it another go, so joined under my username getagrip, second time round was much better and I became very active there and posted a lot. So I think its best to welcome all new members and make them feel at home as much as possible and that they are valued, I think all members should be valued because without them there is no forum.

yeah that's the only thing you know? Me and a mate are planning a trip to LA next year which is gonna cost a grand or so, so ideally i'd probably say over here lol but i'd be in full support of a meetup! Definately
