If you go to the unicorn darts page, you may know that their darts designer/scientist/coach aka uniboffin writes a blog on there. A few weeks ago I posted a comment just for kicks. This week it was mentioned in their blog with some potential advice.

This may be a good forum for other nutz to ask them questions!

Quite a while ago, I asked the unibobbin about designing a diamond shaped flight (whatever barrel I was using at the time - it seemed like it would suit it). I got a dumb answer from the unibobbin explainging why it wasn't a good idea, aerodynamics, etc, etc (sounded like a load of bull$#@*). I saw a website advertising this shape some time later, so maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all. I think it's a joke.

I personally dont believe that the aerodynamics comes into play a great deal in the short distance the darts are thrown. I know surface area affects the flight but not so much shape surely?

But I am no expert on that as its too scientific for me.

I do believe it affects it alot, but I believe the variability and inconsistency of the body affects it a whole hell of alot more or every one would buy expensive darts and throw like phil
