HELP!! Empty
PostSubject: HELP!!   HELP!! EmptyWed Jun 13, 2012 6:07 am

I broke a stem inside my chizzys, and dont have a stem removal tool. I have a superleague game tomorrow night!

I tried heating a another dart's pointing and melting it into the broken stem but no joy!
Any ideas people?

use something sharp like a stanley and make a small cut or dent in the stem and use the point of another to spin it anti clockwise.....happens me all the time and iv never had to heat a point..using the point of another dart usaually gets it out for me. It can be a bit annoying but it will come in the end

I'm with Hamo. Last time I had a stem break on me I just used the point of another dart. You could also try using a safety pin. Given that it opens into a 'v' shape may give you the torque you need to unscrew it. I have never had to heat a point to melt it in myself either.
