Japan and Darts Empty
PostSubject: Japan and Darts   Japan and Darts EmptyMon May 14, 2012 6:58 pm

I have been checking a few sites from Japan of late and I am amazed at the amount and variety of products they have on offer, even weird things like this arm support?:

http://item.rakuten.co.jp/dartsshoptito/ac_aquatitansupporter/

I am glad that Japan has got into darts in such a big way even if it is mostly soft tip.

They have an uncanny knack at taking ideas and inventions from other countries and improving on them and developing new ones.

Its a shame the prices are prohibitive, but the abundance of ideas and styles they have come out with so far is mind boggling.

I think the future of darts is very bright but I still think that the influence of Japan will eventually over ride the steel tip game and soft tip will prevail.

I think Cosmo do a similar arm support as well - AAA Plus Trains & Darts in the US sell it from memory

Just checked - they have an elbow support and a wrist support - expensive for what they are, but they are at the bottom of the page

If you were after these you'd be better off going to Boots and getting one of their support bandages - about £7 from memory, and you can cut it to size lol

Was not really after one Mike, was just pointing out how the Japanese have lots of crazy but unique ideas, that been one of them.

Mind you there has been some crazy ideas over here too like that finger exerciser by Red Dragon!

Looks like the Russians are in on it too.
Here's Anastasia Dobromyslova with support after her big win this year.

One of the reasons I watch women's darts. Very Happy

Going back to the arm sleeve, it could help.
