2. I can hold the dart lightly, which gives me more control
3. Much less chance of slipping.

Grippy darts aren't for everyone I know but just can't get it on with slick darts because I hold my dart lightly.

I can play with smooth grip and micro grip and knurled grip, but an aggressive shark or razor grip I find too much for me.

Yeah, I got ya, I can play with the microgrip, no knurled though. The micro grip eventually gets worn down too much for me.

i agree completely Larry.. a grippy dart allows me to have a lighter grip. When i learned to play golf many many years ago a man told me to grip the club like i was holding an egg-has always stuck with me.

I can throw most darts reasonably but prefer grippy darts as the other darts tend to slip from my hand a bit too often, especially when i'm playing league games. Anything from the purist style up-to micro grip, razor/shark etc. I prefer the Purist style grip out of all of them, I do love micro grip but it does wear very quickly.

Can't say I've noticed how tight I grip the dart but I suspect its very light as well.

Love those purist level 4 grip. Really fits my darts profile

It seems lots of pros have the grippier dart.
