| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Congratulations to McInnis180 who won last weeks challenge by hitting double's 1-20 in just 15 visits, well done Trevor Also a big thanks to all those who had a go at last weeks challenge. Last Weeks Table:

As winner Trevor has chosen this weeks challenge: "THINK THIS WOULD BE A GREAT AND FUN GAME TO PLAY!!!!!
Halve-It, sometimes called Murder, is one of the more challenging games is and is often played by the pros in both British and American tournaments. Halve-It, like Shanghai and Baseball, is played in "innings" where in each round only a single number is in play. The numbers used, and the order they are played, are as follows: 20, 16, double 7, 14, triple 10, 17, and bull's-eye. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible. You can only score on the number in play for that round. If you should miss the number in play with all three of your darts, your cumulative score is cut in half; hence the name of the game. If you have to halve an odd numbered score, you round up (37 would become 19)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Halve-It Variations Cricket Halve-It. Uses the same rules as regular Halve-It but the cricket numbers are used instead (20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, and bull's-eye).
Halve-It With Doubles and Triples. Same rules are used but the numbers and sequence is changed. The sequence in this variation is 12, 13, 14, any triple, 15, 16, 17, any double, 18, 19, and bull's-eye.
Halve-It With Negatives. Same game but if you should happen to miss the first number, your score goes into the negative the value of the number you are aiming for. So if you are playing traditional Halve-It and you miss on the 20 with all three darts, your score is then -20.
SO.....I WOULD LIKE TO PICK THE DOUBLES AND TRIPLES HALVE-IT......LOVE THIS GAME....SHOULD BE FUN!!!!!! darts throw"So, there you go, halve-it is this weeks challenge, some members may be more familiar with this one than others but we can all give it a go. Also remember, the winner gets to pick next weeks challenge and also one of these for their profile: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] (Badges for your signature will be updated with every weekly challenge you win.) | I'm confused by it?
how many rounds do you throw, do the points equal the total you hit, is it game over as soon as you get zero points? |

D'OH Probably have confused everyone Just to confirm Targets 12 13 14 Any Treble 15 16 17 Any Double 18 19 Bullseye (No Singles?) 11 walks 3 darts per target. Only score the numbers hit. 1st throw 12,T5,12 =24 not 39. Second throw @ 13's etc Any treble/double score any/all trebles e.g. 20,T20,T1 = 63 Round up score when you are halving odd numbers. Half 51(52) = 26 Since half of 1(2) = 1 you can never get to 0 |

| nice video McInnis. I think that the way the dartboard rocks after each dart would distract me. Not that I am accurate enough for it to much matter but an observation |

| I'm struggling to follow this one I'm afraid as I never play it.
Do I have 3 darts at the following in order:
20 16 double 7 14 triple 10 17 bull's-eye
When going for 20, do trebles count as 60? When going for double 7 does single 7 not count at all? And with the bulls eye, is it center bull or the 25 aswell?
I make that 7 visits, or 21 darts in all?
Cheers

| Rebel, McInnis chose the variation of double and trebles. So, the targets you want to go for are in this order: 12, 13, 14, any triple, 15, 16, 17, any double, 18, 19, and bull's-eye. You put three darts at each number in the sequence and add up your total for that number. So, first you go for the 12. If you hit a treble 12 and two single 12s your score would be 36+12+12 = 60. You then continue with the rest of the numbers. In the instance of the any triple if you hit triple 19, triple 3, single 19 you would add 57+9 (nothing for the single 19) to your already tallied score. Same applies for any double. If you miss the number you are shooting at in the sequence you halve your score (+1 then halve in the instance of an odd). The last one is tricky because it is bulls-eye and if I watched JD's video and followed it correctly it has to be a double bull. Single bull does not count. I hope this helped P.S. If I was wrong about anything please correct me |

| After much confusion and a string of 400+ scores being reduced to 200+ scores on the bull. Especially annoying when you hit 2 or 3 singles I finally cracked it: 581 Here's the breakdown 36+52+28+120+45+48+51+40+54+57+ 50(Last Dart) = 581 [img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img] |

| I have not got a clue with this one I am afraid, don't understand what I am aiming at or what to score myself, completely lost, sorry. Thanks for trying to explain Lefty but still, no idea what I am doing so will miss this one for now, especially if Fox just broke John Lowe's record Cheers |

Going to kill all of us a few times I bet. I was bummed, had the video going to. Missed a 180 on my last throw and I was feeling confident on the bull. Missed it by a mile. |
