| So Phil's decided that he wants to move into Sponsorship of a team of players to make the PDC circuit. It's going to take place over 24 weeks and each week you have a different routine to perform as follows:- Week 1 - Throw 3 darts at each double in turn D1 through to D20. For each double you get 5 Pts. Total 300. Week 2 - 20 visits to take out 32 as many times as you can. 5 Pts for each one. Total 300. Week 3 - 20 visits needing 40 but you can only use 20's, 10's and 5's. 5 Pts for each one. Total 300. Week 4 - Finishes from 41 to 60. 15 pts for each one done. Total 300. Week 5 - 20 visits to take out 24 using any combination. 5 Pts for each visit you take out 24. BUT a 10 Pt Bonus if you hit 3 x D12's in one visit. Total 300. Week 6 - 20 visits to take out 100 in any combination. 10 Pts for each visit, BUT a 10 Pt Bonus for taking it out in 2 darts. Total 400. Week 7 - 20 visits to take out 64 using any combination. 10 Pts for each visit, BUT a 10 Pt Bonus for taking it out in 2 darts. Total 400. Week 8 - 20 visits to take out 82. 10 Pts for each visit, BUT a 10 Pt Bonus for taking it out in 2 darts. Total 400. Week 9 - 20 visits to take out 120. 10 Pts for each visit, BUT a 10 Pt Bonus for 3 x D20's. Total 400. Week 10 - 60 darts at T19. 5 Pts for a Treble and 2 Pts for a S19. 10 Pt Bonus for a 171. Total 500. Week 11 - 60 darts at Bullseye. 5 Pts for a Bull, 2 Pts for a 25. 10 Pt Bonus for 3 Bulls. Total 500. Week 12 - 60 darts at T20. 5 Pts for a T20 2 Pts for a S20. 15 Pt Bonus for a 180. Total 600. Weeks 13 to 24 are the same as above. Basically you get 1 chance and 1 chance only at each routine then they take your Best overall score from the 2 sets of 12 weeks and this goes onto a Leaderboard for your region. - Quote :
- Over a hundred talented players will make it to Regional Finals taking place with Rileys later this year, and the top 16 will be paid into Q School by 'The Power' himself.
Players who make it through will be mentored by Phil in their first year as a professional in 2013 and become part of 'Team Taylor' - any darts player's dream. Yu can sign up for it now and it takes place at Rileys around the Country.

| Thats sounds good, a strange set of tasks but looks like they are a good way to quickly spot the talented players. Think this is a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring player with a fair skill level, well done to Mr T for sponsoring it. |

| Sounds interesting, I might sign up for it.
Although I don't see the point of making it a weekly thing as most of those practice routines won't last more then 10 minutes.
I think It would be better to do it all in one day, or at least make them longer. |

| That's crazy. It's a great way to recruit for darts and help it grow. Good on Taylor for taking that step. |

| It's open to everyone, no matter age, creed, affiliation, blah, blah, blah!!! Tried it today and it's a great way of practicing. Me and 2 mates spent a good 3 hours doing all the routines. On the day, you get one shot and one shot only to make the best of it then you pick your 12 best scores to count. My best was the 20's and 19's routines today, but I've now set targets for myself. I figure do all the routines between now and the start and then spend a week on the one that's due that week to fine tune it. Had a good laugh doing it today and it definitely shows strengths and weaknesses in your game. Good luck to all who enter, I have already done so for the Devon/Cornwall region. |

He will be great for darts that is for sure Your right Warren he will be, I think when he finally retires from competing he will devote his time and effort into moving the sport forward even further which can only be a good thing with him behind it, I think he has already done a lot for the sport simply by being as good as he is. Exciting times ahead for darts! |

| I am a little unsure of some of the rules for some of the challenges. Week 2: example: Hit 16, 8 ,4 do i start again next walk or do you have to finish first? this applies to a number of other challenges as well Week 3: example: my first dart goes into double 1. do i then have another two shots at 40 or do i loose the walk? what about single 5? So far i have done Week 1 and week 4 challenges 95 and 135 respectively

| Yes sorry week 4 is worth 15Pts each.
Week 2 - Take out 32. You have 3 darts to take out 32. So examples:-
1st dart - you hit 7, you now have 2 darts to take out 25. 1st dart you hit 16, you have 2 darts to take out 16 (i.e. D8 ). 1st dart you hit D16, you have 2 darts and can take out 32 again.
Ideally, you'll hit 3 D16's and take maximum points of 15.
Week 3 is the same but taking out 40, BUT you can only finish using D20, D10 or D5. So example:-
1st dart - you hit S1, only route you have is S19, D10. 1st dart - you hit S5, only route you have is S15, D10. 1st dart - you hit S20, you then go for D10, you hit S6, you can't finish. 1st dart - you hit D20, you can still go for another D20 and if you hit that one you're 3rd dart can hit D20 for a maximum of 15 Pts. |
