| It is made from wood slats that are held together by a metal frame around the perimeter. It is the same design on both sides. Heavy, well made. |

| The board is made of wood. About 1 inch thick.It is not one solid piece but about 3" slats running vertically. It has a metal frame all around holding it all together. There is a patent number on it 704144 but I have not researched it to see exactly when it was made. |

Hmm good find Mike, not sure who he is though but interesting. Even more interesting after a little further investigation. Mr Leggatt was an industrial chemist from Woodford Green who invented a modelling clay which he called Nodor (because it had no odour). He formed the company we all now know in 1919, and he branched out into dartboards in 1923. He was also the first president of the National Darts Association.
