Here's a few pics from the exhibition I went to last week. It was a great to have the chance to meet and chat to the players. I managed to have a good chat with Lewis and Whitlock. Watching them warm up was fantastic, Whitlock was throwing while chatting to Lewis and didn't hit anything under 100 in 5 visits to the board that included 2 x 180's!!

Barney won the knockout comp beating Whitlock in the final! It was a great evening of darts!!

Thats fantastic Steve! I am jealous too!

One thing I will say looking at those pics and other peoples pics, Adrian Lewis always seems to be very friendly in his fan pics, more so than some of the other players, so I think in spite of what people may think regarding his cockiness he seems to be a nice guy by all accounts.

Wish I was there though, would have really liked to meet Barney and Whitlock! good job

Have to agree there Grip, I am not completley sold on this cocky/arrogant side of Lewis, he is a great player and is confident in his ability, whats wrong with that?
If he lost that edge, that cockiness or whatever you want to call it, then he wouldnt be the same player IMO

And I will say again, I think he is more laid back than cocky, great player and a great lad IMO.

Brilliant! A couple questions. How long was the meet and greet portion? Did you have to buy a ticket? Was it limited to the first X number of people to show up?

Hello mate, we had an hour to meet the players before the exhibition started. Yeah, we had to pay more for the VIP tickets in advance and I would say there were about 50-60 people in the room.

We had a great chat with Whitlock, my brother throws his darts and he showed us the darts he's throwing at the moment with the extra grooves cut into them. He said the new version will be released at some point.

We had quick chats with Wade and Barney as there were quite a few people trying to get autographs and photos at the same time.

We timed it right with Lewis and spent a good 5 minutes chatting to him mainly about the premier league game against Taylor.

To be fair to all the players they made time for everyone and nothing was to much bother for them. There was also Les Wallace and Andy Fordham there.

All in all a top night!!
