Does anybody know if Target storm points will fit into the Double 16 Elite grip darts?
Cheers,

I think they will! Storms improve the look of any dart IMO.

All I will say is that they should fit in any darts but have found out that they will sometimes be tight or loose in certain darts.
It seems to be random rather than particular sets as I think most barrels are drilled to the same spec for all points.

I have had the problem with a brand new set of Lewis Target darts where 2 points went straight in and 1 was real tight and had to be forced in, after trying the points in each dart seemed one was slightly thicker that the other 2.

I have found that cling film will keep any loose points in firm and grabbing a tight point in the power drill (pointy end first) and sanding the inserting end slightly takes off just enough for it to slide in without a problem.

So I would say that they should fit but I dont think it could be said they will definately go in without a problem on any set of darts.

Just form personal experience and I have fitted about 12-15 sets, maybe 3 of those I had a problem with even on Targets own darts.

This is the reason I ask rebel. I have been using storm points now since they came out and love em, but some darts that I have tried to put them in they have been sloppy. My testaments they perfect in.

Do you have a caliper Hat! Measure the point as close to the nose-if it's at least .092" the storms will fit. If its less than that they won't.
