I know its over a year away but i am going to attend PDC Q school in 2014 it gives me a year to save and desperately find a sponsor to help
me out !!

So the practice will start now !! i have had to sacrifice playing Superleague and getting into the County Squad for this because i was spending way to much at superleague ie fees , beers , travel , food !!. Other than having to give up superleague/county i am happy i have made this decision to give Qschool a go in 2014!!!

while not playing much league action i will play some Open comps , Hard practice with a few PDC boys , and the odd friday night league game to help the lads out.

I know i am no Taylor , Van Gerwin but when i am on form i could give the best a run for there money !!!

I'm not sure if giving up super league is a good idea as it will give you proper competition against other decent players which I would have thought would be good preparation - but good luck with it Lion and I'm looking forward to seeing you pick up the World Championship title in 2015

I know what your saying about Superleague and the competition being good. there was also another problem with that i had a fall out about a week ago with the captain about the treatment of a young player and ended up with me telling him to shove it lol i love youngsters playing the game and he didnt for some reason !!!

i am also on a tight budget until i find a sponsor so the money saved from not playing superleague is going straight in the Qschool pot.

I wish you the best of luck Lion, but if I were you I would aim for a county spot first. In my opinion it would boost your chances of getting a sponsor. Having played county would make better reading on your darting cv.

Just my two cents worth though, I would love to see a forum member hitting the big stage so good luck.

i would be in the county team this weekend if i had not had a fall out with the captain. But the way he treated the young players was horrible and i had to say something !!
