Has anyone had experience with the performance dart offered by the Performance Dart Center? The 23g version has been reviewed by Double 16.

If you mean the Anthony Urmston-Toft darts then I had a couple of sets.

They are very well made, a nice micro grip and a decent tapered nose, all round a good dart, good price and fly well, only reason I got rid of mine was I change to gripping the front of the dart so the taper was no good for me.

I had a set but found I needed the grip at the back so had to get shot of mine. The new ones they have done have now got the said grip along the full barrel. I actually liked the darts and the grip is surprisingly good although I dont know how long the micro grip would last with heavy practice sessions as it is very fine. If Performance darts want to send me a free set I will gladly put them to the test and then write a review for the forum.

Thanks all for your take on the performance darts. The new version with the micro grip along the entire barrel look very interesting. I also like the tapered nose of the barrel. If I get a set I will give a review. At around $37 USD they are reasonably priced.

I had a set a while back and bought them from eBay where they were advertised as being the dart for all players at all levels.

I have to say they are a lovely dart, very well made but just were not for me.

At the end of the day, these darts were made to the specification of one person and I would expect that they are the perfect dart for him. The grip along the entirety of the barrel is a nice touch, however it was the shape more than anything that was not for me!

I have spoken to Paul at The Performance Darts centre and he will send me a set to use then do a review on. I may even attempt a video if I can get my head around this hosting lark. Think my PC has a mind of it's own.
