| would like to know from other forum members how long there darts last ??
ringed= can last forever in my opinion some players have the same set for years
knurled = good long lasting darts totally down to the player and how the knurling feels
shark/razzor/saw = my guess would be 3-4 sets a year. some players change theres every few weeks at the highest level
smooth = well this can last for years aswell hankeys had the same set for years
copper = not sure on this as never used these but i think they were down
theres probs more that ive forgot to mention |

| Coppers are supposed to get better with age, due to it oxidising in a different way to normal tungsten

| I know I gave up playing for the best part of 25 years, but these two sets are approx 35 years old and still throw well [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I really need to get some better pics of my darts, but the flights and stems on the first set also hail from the good old days - the flights were my old company flights that we used to get for free if we played for the company lol. I've still got two sets somewhere!! Back in the day I used to play matches 4 nights a week, half an hour at lunchtime during the week, and quite often Saturday and Sunday lunchtime down the local as well - so they used to get a bit of use!! |

| It depends how drunk you get I think more sets are left behind & never claimed than get worn out lol |

| Oh man i have to say I have never lost a set had some one try to steal them once but when I asked him for them he just handed them over as I am quite a persuasive bloke. |
