Got a big game Monday night so picked up me darts for a practice session after 45 minutes i had broken 4 stems ! Now i know im playing pretty well but this is the first time ive tried the deflectagrip stems and i dont know if the stems are too brittle or what but i didnt seem to have this problem so much before ! I suppose i should take it as a positive and be happy my groupings getting better but no points are scored for darts on the floor !

Must be your grouping thats too good! usually the deflectagrips are pretty durable?

I found I don't break as many when I punch my flights and use the lock rings.

Cheers for the replies , When i punched the flights and used the rings i was piggy backing darts with the point going between the spring and stem ! Just one of those things i reckon,, that kind of accuracy cant last lol

you wont get no robin hoods but you may get the odd broken stem, I never have though but Larry has managed to break 4 of the Fit Shaft Gears even though they are meant to be near indestructible

thinking of going back to slik stiks , Shouldnt be so much of an issue with them but will prevail with what i have for the next couple of weeks and see how things go ,
