Leaning Darts Empty
PostSubject: Leaning Darts   Leaning Darts EmptyMon Sep 03, 2012 12:15 pm

Practiced for a couple hours today and almost every dart landed with the flight leaning left, sometimes straight and never leaning right or up or down.
Could this be how i am releasing the dart? I am left handed also if that helps.

It is the release and/or the wrist flick. There could be a few reasons as to why that is happening. Do you grip the dart quite hard? Or it could be that your trying to force the dart too much and snatching.

The pictures and his story is exactly what is happening to me, just reversed cause i am left handed. I will experiment with the grip and see what happens.
Thanks so much

Yeah it is a lot to do with grip and release but also your follow through. I tend to hit the 5's alot now, I think its because I am letting my wrist turn slightly on release which seem to be guiding the dart to the left. Never had this issue before breaking my shoulder so I dont know why it happened.

No problem. Make sure and let us know how your getting on. Have a look at flight school too if you haven't already. George has and is helping people from all corners of the world.
